March is National Social Worker Month, and we are proud to recognize the incredible dedication, compassion, and resilience of our social workers.

Every single day, our social workers go above and beyond to support our residents β€” advocating for their needs, offering guidance during difficult times, and helping create a safe, supportive, and caring environment. Their work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt in every success story, every comforted family, and every life improved.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment, your empathy, and the heart you bring to everything you do. We are truly grateful for all that you do for our residents and our community.

Please join us in celebrating and thanking our amazing social workers this month and always! πŸ’™

March is National Social Work Month, and we are especially proud to recognize Rebecca, our incredible Director of Social Services here at Leominster Rehab and Nursing Center, who celebrated 2 years with us in February. πŸ’™

Rebecca brings not only compassion and dedication to our residents, but also a wealth of life and professional experience. She began her career in healthcare at just 15 years old as a CNA β€” a true testament to her lifelong commitment to caring for others.

Rebecca graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College in 2009 with a degree in human services and Criminal Justice and a minor in Law Enforcement, and later earned her Sociology degree from Worcester State University in 2016. Along the way, she has worked in a variety of impactful roles, including supporting individuals in substance abuse recovery and serving as a group home manager for women with traumatic brain injuries at The Arc of Opportunity.

Each step of her journey has shaped the compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated leader we are so fortunate to have guiding our Social Services department today. Rebecca, thank you for the heart, professionalism, and advocacy you bring to our residents and families every single day. We truly appreciate you! 🌟
